Boys White beats Celtic Silver 4-3 in 3rd game of Canton Cup

Alex Cross scored his fifth and sixth goals of the Canton Cup as the boys White team beat Canton Celtic Silver 4-3 Sunday morning.
United led 4-0 at the half and held on as Celtic Silver scored three unanswered goals, the last with about a minute remaining.
Coach Mario Ramirez said his United team played equally well in both halves.
"(Celtic Silver) just came out more aggressive in the second half, that's all," he said. "Our kids played fantastic."
The White team's other goals were scored by Madison Grieb _ who also assisted on Alex's second goal _ and Riley List.

Now, United waits. It finished the tournament at 2-1 with a plus-2 goal differential. If the winner of the Goodrich White/Michigan Tigers Blue game prevails by fewer than three goals, United moves on to Sunday afternoon's Boys U11 Gray division championship game.
